BENEFITTING FROM THE POWER OF PEERS

Through peer forums, Members gain new knowledge, perspective and insights on complex issues of governance, leadership and strategy.

The B2B Project is an invitation-only group of senior executive women who serve or plan to serve on publicly traded corporate Boards of Directors. In a private, confidential setting, over delicious cuisine, we learn from each other’s experiences, support each other’s pursuit of Board appointments, and have a little fun in the process. We meet four times a year in peer-to-peer forums. At least twice a year, we swarm together as one.

MEMBER EXPECTATIONS OF THE B2B PROJECT

We will maintain the rigor of criteria and selectiveness of Members
We actively promote Members to Boards
We foster strategic relationships with organizations to get Members on Boards
We manage the peer forums and the swarms, our signature events
We facilitate peer forum dinners (4 per year) by identifying topics, organizing discussion leaders
We organize Swarms, annual signature events including Daring Conversations, Distinguishing Voices and The Festive Buzz

EXPECTATIONS OF MEMBERS

To achieve our mission, Members will actively champion other members for Board positions AND pursue chairmanships once appointed
To develop familiarity for honest discourse and sincere mutual support, Members will make best efforts to attend peer forum dinners
To be effective Board leaders, Members will constructively engage in candid peer-to-peer discussions on relevant topics

To enable open conversation, each Member will lead a peer forum discussion
To grow, Members will nominate new Members who meet or exceed the criteria and make introductions for strategic relationships
To provide for the peer forum’s continuity, the swarms’ growth and Member promotion and proactive development of Board opportunities, Members will commit to at least a three-year active membership and pay an annual member fee

CRITERIA

CEO or direct report to CEO
Manage significant P/L, budget and/or headcount
Play(ed) integral role and have/had decision making authority on global corporate strategy for middle-market or larger company and/or capital investment for company or firm
