Stottlemyer served on corporate boards of directors (DataPath, Soza & Company, MorganFranklin Corporation, Base Technologies, LeapFrog, Navstar, Virginia Commerce Bank), as Commissioner, Fairfax County EDA, on boards of MWAA, Virginia Chamber of Commerce (Vice Chair), National Capital Region American Red Cross (Vice Chair), and Greater Washington Board of Trade.
